Post-birth1st pregnancy
@Itsyafreisy

My pregnancy journey has been very emotional, life changing, and honestly not always easy. Becoming a mom was something I always dreamed about, so when I found out I was pregnant, I experienced so many emotions all at once.. excitement, fear, hope, and vulnerability. One of the hardest parts of my journey was realizing that the father of my child wasn’t as involved or emotionally present the way I hoped he would be. As a woman, especially during your first pregnancy, you imagine feeling supported, loved, reassured, and having someone help make the experience feel special. Coming to terms with the fact that I didn’t fully have that was painful at times. There were moments where I felt alone emotionally, but through everything, I continued showing up for myself and my baby. My pregnancy taught me strength I didn’t even know I had. It forced me to grow emotionally, trust myself more, and realize that even if things don’t happen exactly how you pictured them, you can still create a beautiful experience for yourself and your child. This journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s made me stronger, softer, wiser, and even more appreciative of the love I’m able to give as a future mother
